Shared Care Scotland in 2009

In 2009 we will...

Work hard to ensure the government's commitment to improve the amount and quality of short break services is making a difference on the ground
Support those responsible for short break services to adopt the recommendations and good practice contained in the new government guidance
Work with others to develop new models of service planning which put carers and care recipients at the very heart of decision making
Continue to help carers, care recipients and those working on their behalf to find their way to services which best match their needs, aspirations and circumstances.
