Who was it for?
Carers, people receiving care, service providers and anyone with an interest in the future shape and direction of short break and respite care services.
What was it about?
An opportunity to share news, views and ideas about short break services in your area. Also find out what’s happening at the national level to support improvements in carer services, and what impact this will have locally.

Shared Care Scotland Board Members and Staff will be touring Scotland during 2006 and 2007. We want to meet a
nd talk to service users, carers and carer representatives to gather views on the provision of short break services. This will help to inform our future work and we also hope that those attending will leave the event with some new ideas and approaches to accessing services.
If we can help in any way to make your involvement in this event possible, please do let us know. We can meet reasonable travel expenses and care costs, although as far as the latter is concerned we would request that you contact us in advance before making arrangements.
