click here to download this pageShared Care Scotland has launched a unique Scotland-wide online directory of short break and respite services. The directory covers all forms of service including, for example: home-based and residential based breaks, family placements, befriending, holiday breaks and accessible guest houses and hotels.
In time, we hope the Online Short Break Information Service (or OSBIS for short) will provide a one-stop-shop where carers, those receiving care services and health and social care staff will be able to search for and arrange a suitable break.
You can use the directory to help you think generally about the sorts of short break services that would meet your needs and circumstances, or search for particular services in your area.
